These are physical pains brought by the effects of having a baby in the womb. When a woman is pregnant, she can feel a lot of changes in her body which explain the pain she is feeling during her pregnancy.

Nausea or vomiting is another pain that a woman would experience during her pregnancy. It is mainly due to hormonal changes in the body. This is referred to as “morning sickness”. Whenever the stomach is empty, a pregnant woman feels this kind of discomfort; and so, the remedy is to eat sufficient amounts of food every time. This may include cereals, crackers, lean meat and cheese; these foods can fill up your appetite. It is also important to avoid strong smells to avert vomiting from coming very often.

Headaches are also one of the common pains during pregnancy. This may be a cause of too much stress, congestion, or constipation. Apply an ice pack to your forehead and rest. Stop worrying to avoid stress.

Expectant mothers may also experience bleeding and swollen gums. This is caused by the increasing supply of certain hormones in the body. Consult your dentist on this. On your own, brush and floss your teeth regularly to keep your teeth and mouth healthy.

It seems that pain in pregnancy is not avoidable.
